At One Planet, we believe that character education is an essential component of a well-rounded education. Character serves to direct the fruits of a well-trained mind towards the betterment of the world.

Every two weeks, the students, teachers and staff at the school learn about and practice one virtue using our text book. These virtues are what make up a good character in all cultures and traditions. Here are some of the virtues we learn and practice:

Love, Generosity, Kindness, Patience, Helpfulness, Truthfulness, Cleanliness, Encouragement, Courtesy and Thankfulness

In addition to learning and practicing a new virtue every two weeks, the children practice making the right choice when faced with a moral dilemma, and are rewarded for practicing good deeds and acts of service to others.
